Timofey Basarab made it 3 - 0 when he was able to bring the puck in close, and deke the Lee and left him frozen and got it in the opposite side. Timofey Basarab notched another one when he was able to line up for a perfect straight up shot down the middle after he grabbed the puck off a Bandit's stick. Nobody challenged him and he was able to beat Lee high. Matt Kennedy and Dominick Balboni got the assists. Sean Ferus made it 5 - 0 when he was able to get the soft drop pass from Aaron Champagne when he was challenged by a defender and was able to one-time it into the back of the net. Alex Speckhart was credited with the secondary assist. Timofey Basarab netted his hat trick when he tipped a shot in from Aiden Grabowski. Basarab drove down the ice and was challenged in the corner. He dished the puck off to Matt Kennedy, who dished it off to Grabowski who made the intitial shot. Basarab deflected it into a different direction beating the goaltender. Connor O'Brien made it 9 - 0 when he was able to tip in the shot from Timofey Basarab on a 3 on 1. Nicholas Lopes got the secondary assist. Dominick Balboni got his hat trick when he put his stick down at just the right time to deflect a shot from Alex Speckhart. Connor Lee stopped 34 out of 41 for the loss, while Sean Raynor stopped 19 out of 22 for the Bandits. Cameron Schnopp stopped all 39 shots for the win.
The Pics skated into IHC, and defeated them 8 - 3 in a Friday noontime tilt. The Pics opened up the scoring when Timofey Basarab was able to capitalize off a faceoff win from Brigham Dubey and deposited it in the back of the net. Sean Ferus was able to make it 2 - 0 when he got a shot off a loose puck from a Nathan Brown face off win and quick shot. Aaron Champagne was credited with the secondary assist. The Islanders were able to get one on the board after that, but Dominick Balboni was able to go 5-hole on the goaltender when he broke down the wing and received a drop pass from Timofey Basarab who was on the opposite end of the ice. Balboni was unopposed on his trek down the ice and was given enough time to line up his shot to make it 3 - 1. The Islanders tried to start to throw the momentum their way when they scored two unanswered goals, but Nick Foster got what would be the game winning goal when Connor O'Brien fed him the loose puck and Foster was able to deposit it bar down. Connor Cognac was able to get the insurance goal when he jammed at the puck in front of the net off a soft rebound from his own shot. Connor O'Brien gave the puck to Cognac and was credited with the assist. Connor O'Brien was able to get one in the back of the net, and start his natural hat trick when he got the puck from an Aaron Champagne successful faceoff. Connor O'Brien was able to tally in the empty net as the Islanders pulled the goaltender with just over 3:30 left to go in the game to attempt to get back into it. Timofey Basarab got the assist. It was hat-trick time for Connor O'Brien has he got a close in shot opportunity and was able to capitalize on it as Timofey Basarab had the puck, and dished it off to O'Brien who was sitting on the post and tapped it in top shelf. Marcello De Antunano stopped 49 out of 52 shots for the win.

Seth Chernik scored the Pics' second goal, with Paud O'Brien and Connor Cognac assisting. The Bruins then scored one more, making it 3 - 2 in favor of the visiting Bruins. Liam Byrne then scored, tying the score up at 3 a piece. Zach Shupe and Matt Kennedy got the assists. Vaughn Gillen scored his first of the game, putting the B's back on top. Liam Andersen restarted the frenzy, as the Pics scored 3 in a row to throw the momentum in their favor. Cole Growhoski and Connor Cognac got the assists on the first of 3 goals. Dylan Taylor then scored what would be the game winning goal with Hunter Dodds and Matt Kennedy getting the assists. Connor Cognac then scored what would be the insurance goal with Seth Chernik and Paud O'Brien assisting. Vaughn Gillen got the B's within one, but Connor Cognac scored on the empty net to make it 7 - 5. Dominick Balboni and Cole Growhoski got the assists. Quinn Sullivan stopped 34 out of 39 shots for the win. Four unanswered goals were key to the Elite squad's road victory Saturday night against the Bandits, as they emerged victorious 4 - 2. Liam Byrne opened up the scoring shortly after the opening faceoff as he got the give and go pass from Seth Chernik and deposited it stick side of Bandits goaltender Connor Lee. Matt Kennedy was credited with the secondary assist. Aiden Grabowski got the Pics second goal as him and Paud O'Brien were driving down the near side of the ice one behind each other when O'Brien drop passed the puck to Grabowski who deposited the puck in exactly the same area as Byrne did earlier. Matt Kennedy was credited with the secondary assist. Felix Appelt got what would end up being the game winning goal when he got a rebound from Paud O'Brien and spun around and delivered the puck to the rear of the net. Bryce St. Martin was credited with the secondary assist. Sean Ferus got revenge for the brutal hit on him as he was able to deposit a dragging slapshot of a goal off a feed from Liam Byrne who broke down the ice with Bryce St. Martin while on the power play. Garret Woodruff was credited with the win, stopping 38 out of 40 shots.
The U16 squad kept up their winning ways as they dominated the Boston Advantage - American squad 3 - 1 on Saturday night.
Aiden Pisano started up the game with scoring just two minutes into the game when he broke down the wing after receiving a pass from Coleson Hanrahan and was able to deposit it into the back of the net making it 1 - 0. Chris Foster was credited with the secondary assist. Tyler Genovese tallied his first goal, and what would end up being the game winning goal just under 3 minutes into the 2nd period when he was able to cash in on a rebound from Aiden Pisano. Coleson Hanrahan was credited with the secondary assist. Nick Disanti got the Pics third and final goal of the game with under 8 minutes to go in the 3rd period. Wyatt Archibald spoiled the shutout when he scored with 2 seconds remaining in the game. John Hanscom got the win, stopping 28 out of 29 shots. The Pics defeated the Boston Advantage Wednesday afternoon in a fight filled game, that would envy HBO Saturday Night Fights. The Pics opened up the scoring when Brock Baumann was able to capitalize after a series of misplays down in the Advantage defensive end when he was able to tip the shot from Kyle Nelson in. Owen Stacey was credited with the secondary assist. Oliver Cookson was able to tap the 2nd goal in for the Pics when he received the pass from Matthew Tullo. Connor O'Brien broke down the wing all alone and it deflected off the Advantage goaltender. Tullo was able to pick it up and tossed it to a crashing Cookson who deposited it into the back of the net. Xavier Erickson was able to get the 3rd goal of the game, and his third goal of the season (at the time) when he was able to get the pass from Timofey Basarab who was on his knees. Nicholas Lopes originally brought the puck down down the near wing but missed his first shot. The Advantage were able to put two on the board to spoil the shutout, but Xavier Erickson was able to start the avenging when he picked up the errant pass from an Advantage player and was able to one time it into the back of the net. Nicholas Lopes and Brock Baumann were the last two Pics players who played it. Matthew Kowal was able to tip in the next goal off a deflection off an Advantage player and deposited it lightly bar down into the back of the net. Ryan Moorhouse and Chase Reynolds both got the assists. The Advantage were able to tap one more in to make it 5 - 3, but Owen Stacey was able to make it 6 - 4 when he was able to tip in a shot from the point from Joe Bouchard and deflect it in. Chase Reynolds got the secondary assist. Oliver Cookson was able to get the final goal of the matchup when he deposited the puck in after a few rebounds and was able to get the puck in past behind the goaltender from the post. Ryan Moorhouse and Brock Baumann are both credited with the assists. Wyatt Friedlander was credited with the win, stopping 24 out of 26 shots, playing two periods. Cameron Schnopp stopped 6 out of 7 shots in the final period. Andrew Engel stopped 53 out of 60 shots for the loss.
The Springfield Pics struck first in the back and forth battle, but the Pics came out victorious after Dominick Balboni cashed in on two scoring opportunities. Paud O'Brien was able to cash in first when he positioned himself in front of the net to receive a pass from the corner from Seth Chernik who got the puck from Zach Shupe. O'Brien got the pass and put it between the legs of Bandits goaltender Will Hanly. The Bandits struck back just three minutes later with a goal from Seamus O'Donnell. The Pics though struck back via Bryce St. Martin when his shot kicked off the skate of Hanly and into the back of the net. Eli Boyle and Felix Appelt are both credited with assists. The Bandits then were able to put up two unanswered goals in the 3rd period to take the lead briefly until just before the half way point in the 3rd period when Eli Boyle was able to take the puck away from a Bandits player and go bar down shortly after the faceoff at the start of a power play favoring the Pics. Bryce St. Martin and Connor Cognac (were credited with the assists. Shane Coen for the Bandits was able to put the Bandits back on top with just 7 and a half minutes left in the 3rd period, but the Pics were not done yet. Seamus O'Donnell got called for a penalty and the Pics went on the power play. With just two minutes left, Pics goaltender Quinn Sullivan was pulled for the extra attacker to make it a 6 on 4 ice strength. Just seconds after the penalty expired, Dominick Balboni was able to bring the puck in and dragged it past the goaltender and tied the game with a minute remaining. Paud O'Brien and Felix Appelt were credited with the assists. The overtime period had some fireworks early into the period when Jack St. Pierre got called for a major penalty for cross checking when he skated into a prone Balboni who was playing the puck in the corner. Dominick Balboni was able to capitalize on the major power play when he was able to deposit the puck into the back of the net when he made a shot from his defensive position between the blue line and near faceoff dot. Paud O'Brien and Connor Cognac were both credited with the assists. Pics goaltender Quinn Sullivan netted his first win, stopping 45 out of 49 shots. Bandits goaltender Will Hanly stopped 47 out of 52 shots for the loss.

Eli Boyle was credited with the secondary assist. Bryce St. Martin netted the next goal off a deflection to an open end of the net as the goaltender was out of position. Eli Boyle fed St. Martin the puck who then put it in the back of the net. Dylan Taylor was given credit as he was able to dish in the original feed to Boyle. Matt Kennedy netted his first goal as a Pic, as well as getting the game winning goal in the waning seconds of the 2nd period when he was able to get set up within a few feet dead center in front of the net and got the feed from Felix Appelt. Paud O'Brien was credited with the secondary assist. Aaron Champagne was able to net the insurance goal, as well as the signature to the hat trick in the 3rd period when he was able to get a shot in, and it bounced off, up, and over the glove of Connor Lee. It trickled into the crease and just passed the goal line. Alex Speckhart and Cole Lemay were credited with the assists. Cameron Schnopp stopped 38 out of 41 shots for the win, while Connor Lee stopped 28 out of 33 for the loss.
Both teams fought hard this past weekend, but the Elite and the U15's couldn't find magic as they lost their respective weekend series.
The U15's couldn't stop the hot Islanders goaltender on Saturday afternoon, and couldn't break the streak the Islanders were on as the momentum from Saturday carried over into Sunday as the Islanders put up a combined 5 unanswered goals, two of them coming in the 2nd period of Sunday's game. The U15 squad did strike twice in the 3rd period, as James Delaney scored, and Alex Gomes netted his first assist and goal as a Pic in the loss. The Elite squad gave up three unanswered goals, two in the 3rd period and one in OT to give the Junior Bruins the win on Saturday night, as both James Lynch and Liam Andersen got their first goals as Pics on Saturday night in the 1st period. Bryce St. Martin and Dominick Balboni both scored for the Pics on Sunday in the loss in a penalty filled game. The Kings might have struck first, but in the end it was the Pics who reigned supreme Saturday night after the Pics scored four unanswered goals, two of them being special teams goals, as the Pics defeated the Kings 4 - 2 in a penalty filled game. The Kings stuck first just under 10 minutes into the 1st period when Jack Garland put one in between the pipes and into the net. The Kings then scored again when one of the Kings top forwards Drew Arpin scored against Pics goaltender Matthew Jonas. Jonas then settled down and the forwards went to work. Oliver Cookson was able to get the Pics on the board first while on the power play at the 9:12 mark of the 2nd period when Oliver Cookson was able to deflect a shot from Andrii Levtuhkov from the point to make it 2 - 1. Matthew Tullo got the secondary assist. Chase Reynolds was able to make it 2 - 2 while the Pics were on the penalty kill as Brock Baumann was in the penalty box for a high-sticking call. Reynolds and Matthew Kowal came crashing down on an odd man rush. Kowal was able to dish it off to Reynolds who did a cross goal shot and was able to beat the Kings goaltender. It was Reynolds second shorthanded goal this season. Kyle Nelson got the secondary assist. Matt Pelletier got his first goal of the season, which happened to be the game winning goal when he was able to put in the puck on the 3rd attempt in a quick flurry of shots as the Kings goaltender was down across the mouth of the goal and he was able to put it top shelf. Chase Reynolds got the last shot in before Pelletier was able to convert and Xavier Erickson also contributed to the flurry as the initial shooter. Oliver Cookson got his second of the game when he was able to deflect the puck slightly enough for it to squeak between the legs of the Kings goaltender to make the game 4 - 2. Connor O'Brien had the initial shot and Timofey Basarab got the secondary assist. Matthew Jonas stopped 32 out of 34 shots for the win, while Kings goaltender Scott Barnikow stopped 32 out of 36 shots for the loss.
