Four unanswered goals were key to the Elite squad's road victory Saturday night against the Bandits, as they emerged victorious 4 - 2. Liam Byrne opened up the scoring shortly after the opening faceoff as he got the give and go pass from Seth Chernik and deposited it stick side of Bandits goaltender Connor Lee. Matt Kennedy was credited with the secondary assist. Aiden Grabowski got the Pics second goal as him and Paud O'Brien were driving down the near side of the ice one behind each other when O'Brien drop passed the puck to Grabowski who deposited the puck in exactly the same area as Byrne did earlier. Matt Kennedy was credited with the secondary assist. Felix Appelt got what would end up being the game winning goal when he got a rebound from Paud O'Brien and spun around and delivered the puck to the rear of the net. Bryce St. Martin was credited with the secondary assist. Sean Ferus got revenge for the brutal hit on him as he was able to deposit a dragging slapshot of a goal off a feed from Liam Byrne who broke down the ice with Bryce St. Martin while on the power play. Garret Woodruff was credited with the win, stopping 38 out of 40 shots.
