ZEMBRZYCKI TO SUNY MORRISVILLE

The Springfield Pics are proud to announce the commitment of Premier Player Tyler Zembrzycki of East Islip, New York to NCAA Division III SUNY Morrisville Men’s Hockey for the 2024-2025 season.  Tyler “Big Z” over the past two years suited up for the PICS Premier team in 78 games in which he lit the lamp 47 times, and had 59 assists surpassing the 100 point mark.  When asked of his commitment:  “I am very happy to announce my commitment to play NCAA Division 3 ice hockey at SUNY Morrisville for Coach Krogol. This is something that I have been working towards since playing junior hockey across the United States and in Canada.  My last year and a half in the USPHL with the Springfield Premier Pics was exactly what I needed to get me where I’m at right now.  Coach Rob Bonneau was there helping me every step of the way on and off the ice, preparing me for this next step in my life.  I can’t thank him enough as a coach and a friend.  I would also like to thank my teammates that I’ve played with, and of course my parents that have supported me and encouraged me to continue on with my goals and dreams.  I’m looking forward to getting up  to Morrisville, and starting this next journey. 

GM and Head Coach Rob Bonneau had this to say: “Tyler has been an impact player since the day he became a Springfield PIC.  He is a tremendous goal scorer and at 6’5” is a physical presence whenever he was on the ice.  Tyler played in all the key situations and will be very hard to replace but we look forward to watching him play for Morrisville in the SUNY which was Tyler’s goal when he arrived to us.  We wish Tyler and Morrisville the best next season and hope to build a pipeline line to Morrisville with coach Krogel and his staff”.
