Premier Weekend Review

The Premier squad went 2 - 1 on the weekend, only falling to the Boston Advantage 4 - 3 on Thursday afternoon.
On Thursday, it was three unanswered goals in the 3rd period that put the Advantage on top.
Oliver Cookson, Julian Perino, and Timofey Basarab all contributed to the Pics goals

On Friday, it took a period of bonus hockey to allow the Pics to dispatch the Bandits back to Bridgewater with the overtime loss, as the Pics were victorious 2 - 1.

Connor O'Brien struck first late in the 1st period with a quick wrist shot coming from a behind the net chance from Matthew Tullo. Oliver Cookson got the secondary assist while on the powerplay.

Jace Rearic tied the game up early in the 3rd period with assists from Brian Schindler and James Beatty.

Oliver Cookson brought victory to the Pics half way into the OT period when he was sitting on the doorstep awaiting a pass or a rebound opportunity. He was presented with the rebound opportunity when Cam Gaylor made the shot attempt after going back and forth with Pelletier.

Saturday the Pics skated away from the Bruins victorious 5 - 3 on Saturday.

Owen Stacey started the scoring early in the 1st period just a minute into the game with assists from Ryan Moorhouse and Nico Rodrigues.

Timofey Basarab picked up the Pics second goal 10 minutes later with assists from Nicholas Lopes and Felix Appelt.
Just under two minutes later Michael Bievenue put the Bruins on the board with an assist from Michael Martignetti.
Only one goal was scored in the 2nd period, as Oliver Cookson put the Pics ahead just under 4 minutes into the 2nd period. Julian Perino and Matthew Kowal got the assists.

A pair of Bruins goals tied the game up with 10 minutes remaining in the third but with just under 4 minutes remaining, Basarab put the Pics on top for good. Cookson and Connor O'Brien got the assists.
Kyle Nelson slammed the door with an empty net goal with just 22 seconds remaining with assists from Cookson and Chase Reynolds.
