Premier makes quick work of Advantage

Thirty-seven seconds is all it took for the Pics to score a goal, and make it the game winner in the first period as the Pics quickly dispatched with the Boston Advantage 2 - 0 on Thursday afternoon.

Chase Reynolds broke down the wing and was able to beat Advantage goaltender Andrew Engel with a cross net shot. Julian Perino and Matthew Kowal got the assists.

Kowal was able to put in an insurance goal just 4 minutes into the second period. Andrii Levtuhkov and Joe Bouchard got the assists.

Matthew Jonas stopped all 16 shots he faced, while Engel stopped 41.

The Pics face the division leading Boston Junior Bruins Saturday afternoon at 1pm. Veteran Pics play-by-play broadcaster Eric Richardson will be on the call.
