The Pics skated into Bridgewater looking for the sweep, and the left with four on the board, and another win on the scoresheet.
The Pics scored early in the 1st at the 4:13 mark when Bryce St. Martin got a feed from Zack Fox, and took a shot at Luca Bruns. St. Martin got his own rebound and put it up and over Bruns to make it 1 - 0. Liam Andersen was credited with the secondary assist.
The Bandits evened up the score with just 3 minutes remaining in the 1st when Heritage got a feed from Mazurowski to even it up.
The Pics made it 2 - 1 at the 7:15 mark of the 2nd period when Tyler Genovese got a short pass from Simon Higgins and slipped it through traffic beating Bruns. Kevin Avery got the secondary assist.
Nick Disanti got what would in the end be the game winning goal at the 15:02 mark of the 2nd period when the Pics forchecking unit worked it's magic down on their offensive end. Martin Rudolf and Brandon Shuman were able to work the lanes and were able to get possession of the puck. Rudolf shot the puck towards Bruns, and it deflected off Disanti and into the back of the net.
Kearny was able to make it 3 - 2 in the final seconds of the 2nd period, but James Delaney was able to get the insurance goal just under 7 minutes into the 3rd when he was able to get the shot off from the point, shocking Bruns and the defense as they were expecting a clear into the goal line extended to afford a line change.
Luca Bruns stopped 30 out of 34 shots for the loss, while Pics goaltender Noah Behrens-Gould stopped 33 out of 35 shots for the win.
