Twenty seconds is all that is needed for the Pics to score, and throw the momentum early into the Pics direction as they defeated the Bruins 2 - 0, as Wyatt Friedlander picked up his third shutout as a Pic, all at home. Chase Reynolds picked up the Pics' first goal 20 seconds on in when he was sitting about 5 feet in front of the glove side of Macchioni after Julian Perino and Matthew Kowal battled with the Bruins for possession behind the B's net. Kowal was able to gain possession briefly and dished it off to Reynolds who one-timed it into the back of the net. The Bruins tried in the final moments of the game with the goaltender pulled for the extra attacker, but Max Moriarty put the nail in the coffin for the B's with the empty net goal. Friedlander stopped all 30 shots for the win.
