After being shut out at home on Saturday, the Pics struck back against the Cyclones and defeated them 3 - 1 up in New Hampshire.
Chris Foster opened up the scoring as he picked the pocket of a Cyclones defender and went in alone and went backhand forehand and tucked it past the goaltender who was coming out to shut down a lane.
Martin Rudolf got what would end up being the game winning goal with just under three and a half minutes remaining in regulation when he popped the puck in a loft shot up and over the goaltender and bounced off of him and in the net.
Martin Rudolf ended up getting an empty net goal with a few seconds remaining to make the score 3 - 1.
Ray Picard stopped 41 out of 42 shots for the win. |
