The Pics and the Advantage battled back and forth, but the Pics were victorious in overtime, as the Pics won 4 - 3. Brad Cook opened up the scoring just one minute into regulation, with assists from Tommy Madden and Troy Pratt. Nick Foster returned the favor just over two minutes later when Andrii Ievtukhov launched it from the red line and deflected it into the net. Connor O'Brien was credited with the secondary assist. Sean Donoghue got the Pics second goal of the game when he got a quick shot from right in front of the net to make it 2 - 1. Conner Dalton and Ievtukhov were credited with the assists. The Advantage struck back twice to make it 3 - 2, Joe Berndt and Collin Costello got the goals, while Kodai Mizuno, Cook, Cameron Martin and Max Eckstein all got assists. Dalton got the game tying goal at the 7:37 mark of the 3rd period when he got the give and go pass and beat Jack Nowicki top glove side to make it 3 - 3. Carter Brunelle and Nick Foster were credited with assists. Corey McNally was able to get the game winning goal just a minute and a half into the overtime frame when he deflected a shot from Nick Foster. Dominick Balboni was credited with the assist as well. Advantage goaltender Jack Nowicki stopped 35 out of 39 shots in the loss, while Pics goaltender Jacob Brown stopped 20 out of 23 shots for the win.
