The Springfield PICS are proud to announce that the 2000 born forward Julian Perino has committed to Framingham State University for the fall. A native of Prospect, CT the 6’1 19-year-old Perino has 36 goals and 56 assists in 98 season games in his Pics career. The Framingham State University Rams play in the ECAC Hockey Division III conference. “I am a big fan of the PICS organization and I got see Julian in action during the readiness camps held over the summer” said Head Coach Mike Bailey of the Framingham State University Hockey. Coach Bailey went on to comment “What I liked about him was his play and production, and that he uses his size to his advantage. Julian is a big and strong athlete that can finish and generate team play. He is clearly not a one-dimensional forward and is very unselfish with the puck. I also got to meet Julian off the ice with his parents, and he is a very humble and polite young man from a good family.”
“Julian is a strong power forward type of player who we expect to be successful at Framingham State. He is a two-way player who can play in all the zones and can score. He is a product of the 18U and the Premier squads. We wish him all the best.” said Premier coach and GM Robert Bonneau. |
