The Springfield Pics are proud to announce the commitment of Max Moriarty to Worcester State University. He will be joining Wyatt Friedlander and Matthew Kowal in the incoming class. Moriarty has played in 143 games in his Pics career, garnering 46 goals, and 56 assists.
Moriarty, when asked about his commitment, was quoted saying “I am excited to have the opportunity to play collegiate level hockey next season at Worcester State. I look forward to having a great season. I would like to thank my parents for supporting my hockey career as well as providing me with everything that I needed to succeed. I would also like to thank the Springfield Pics Hockey Organization for helping me improve my skills the past six years. Particularly all my coaches participating in my life on and off the ice. Finally, I would like to give a special thanks to Coach Rob Bonneau for always pushing me to become the better player that I am today, as well as supporting me through all my ups and downs. This opportunity means the world to me, and I’m going to make the absolute most out of it.” John Sarno, college placement coach was quoted at saying "Max Is a extremely hard-working player who can score goals. He’s been in the Pics organization for the last six years, from U16 to our Premier junior club, and now we are very excited to see him play NCAA hockey next season. A great accomplishment!" Rob Bonneau, General Manager of the Pics, when asked about Moriarty was quoted saying “Max is a testament to how the Springfield Pics development ladder works. He has played 6 seasons with the Springfield Pics, two at the u16 level, two at the u18 level, and two at the Premier level. He has been a part of a lot of huge wins for the program. Max is a high energy player who is a mismatch for opposing teams to defend. It was a great pleasure to witness Max grow up in the Springfield Pics Program being with us for six seasons. We look forward to watching him play college hockey at Worcester State for the next four seasons. |
