The Springfield Pics are proud to announce the commitment of Pics Premier goaltender Jake Brown to Lehigh University’s ACHA team.
“I had the chance to see Jake play three seasons ago when he was playing with the Connecticut Knighthawks under now current Elite head coach Chris Beaudoin where he made 60 saves in a single game. Jake is a great technical skilled goaltender who has made some key stops in route to big wins this season for us. We wish Jake the best as he continues off to college.” General Manager and Premier Head Coach Rob Bonneau was quoted. College Placement Advisor John Sarno was quoted as saying “Jake is a hard-working goalie, who gives his team a chance to win every game. I am excited for Jake as Lehigh is a great scholar school and he will get a first-class education as well as competitive hockey.” Jake as played in 9 games this season, and has a 3.56 Goals Against Average, with a save percentage of .881. He has a record of 5 wins and 4 losses. The Springfield Pics wish Jake all the best in his future endeavors. |
