PREMIER

The Premier squad skated into the IHC showcase on the first day, and skated out with a victory against the Metro Jets Developmental Program, defeating them 4 - 3. Brock Baumann opened up the scoring 4:39 into the 1st period as Baumann was able to deposit the puck top shelf glove side off a faceoff on the stick side of the Jets goaltender.  Dominick Balboni and  Corey McNally were credited with the assists.
Tyler Wilson made it 2 - 0 when he deflected a shot towards the net from the blue line from Luc Fricchione.  Connor O'Brien was credited with the secondary assist.
The Jets put two up in the third, but Wilson made it 3 - 2 when he intercepted a "D-to-D" pass, and was able to get a clear shot toward the net. Wilson one timed it and made it 3 - 2.  Sean Donoghue and  Andrii Ievtukhov were credited with the assists.
The Jets tied it up 2 minutes later, but Nicholas Rodrigues was able to seal it away, obtaining his first game winning goal of his career when he was able to get the puck in through traffic off a pass from  Joe Bouchard. Wilson was credited with the secondary assist.

Jacob Brown stopped 14 out of 17 shots for the win.

The Pics then faced the Minnesota Mullets on Friday morning. The Pics had plenty of opportunities, but couldn't cash in until the 3rd period when Wilson finally slipped one past the goaltender when he pulled the rebound away from a  Sean Donoghue shot to kill the shutout attempt. Bouchard was credited with the secondary assist. Landry Laird stopped 23 out of 26 shots in the loss.

ELITE

The Elite squad faced off against the Knights in Friday afternoon action, but couldn't capture lighting in a bottle as they fell 4 - 2 in a back and forth affair. The Knights scored twice in the opening 10 minutes, but Benjamin Goring was able to intercept an uncontrolled puck and one time it into the back of the net to make it 2 - 1. Martin Rudolf and Braeden Humphrey were credited with the assists.
The Knights were able to tack one more on in the 1st to make it 3 - 1 until   Aiden Grabowski lit the lamp at the 7:24 mark of the 3rd period when he broke down the wing on a 2 on 1 and went cross ice to deposit the puck in the opposite side of the goal.  Bryce St. Martin and Goring were credited with the assists.
Jack Messing stopped 41 out of 45 shots in the loss.
