Elite skates to a tie on Sunday afternoon

The Bandits and Pics skated to a 4 - 4 tie due to ice conditions on Sunday afternoon. The Bandits struck twice in the 1st period, but the Pics struck back at the 5:55 mark of the second period when Brandon Shuman potted one in from the far corner near the face off dot. Matus Vojtech and Martin Rudolf were credited with the assists.

Brigham Dubey got the game tying goal at two apiece when he got a quick wrister off. Bryce St. Martin and Simon Higgins were credited with the assists.

The Bandits scored twice to make it a two-goal game, but ​Simon Higgins made it a one goal game when he got the centering pass from Bryce St. Martin off a rebound attempt. Brigham Dubey was credited with the secondary assist.

​Brigham Dubey netted his 2nd of the game, which tied the game, when he caught the goaltender on the opposite side of the net while the Pics were on the powerplay. He got the quick pass from Nick Disanti.  DJ Velez was credited with the secondary assist.

Shortly after the goal, the game was called due to poor ice conditions over on the Bandits end by the Zamboni door. Noah Behrens-Gould stopped 20 out of 23 shots, and Jack Messing stopped 25 out of 26 shots for the tie.
