Bandits steal one from the Pics

he Springfield Pics fell to the Bridgewater Junior Bandits 3 - 1 in front of the faithful Sunday crowd at the Olympia Ice Center.

The Bandits struck first just over two minutes into the game when Jake Lavoie scored against Pics goaltender Landry Laird. Nate Cieszynski scored with two and a half minutes remaining in the 1st to make it 2 - 0.

Lavoie scored against midway through the 2nd to make it 3 - 0.

Sean Donoghue spoiled the shutout when he was able to tip the shot in from Luc Fricchione that rebounded off a couple Bandits players. Joe Bouchard got the secondary assist.

Laird stopped 31 out of 34 shots in the loss, while Bandits goaltender Konrad Kausch stopped 35 out of 36 shots for the win.
