Springfield PICS are proud to announce that forward River Scriarrotta (’05) of Montpelier Vermont, has committed to the American International College Men’s Hockey Program (NCAA Division II).
River has been a major part of the PICS organization over the past three years — starting at the Elite level and finishing with two strong seasons on the Premier squad that reached the USPHL National Championship Final. Across that span, River dressed for more than 125 games, including 13 postseason appearances. He built a reputation for relentless work ethic, timely defensive plays, and the ability to chip in offensively when it mattered. A dependable presence and a true competitor every time he hit the ice. When asked about his commitment,River shared: "I am incredibly grateful for everything Coach Bonneau, the entire Springfield Pics organization, my family, and my teammates have done for me over the past few years. Thanks to the continued support from Coach Bonneau and Coach Beaudoin, I have grown tremendously both as a player and a person during my time with the Pics. I am very excited to play for Coach Tabb and attend AIC in the coming years." Springfield PICS GM and Head Coach Rob Bonneau added: River came to us 3 seasons ago after playing elite most his first season he provided us depth at the premier level in our Run at the Nationals. He did all the little things being physical, blocking shots , killing penalties, and chipping in with timely scoring. His dedication in the gym has been the difference and will be the difference at AIC. I wish River the best and I will be able to walk one rink over to watch him play games. |
