Springfield PICS Sign Goaltender Luc Gravel!The Springfield PICS are fired up to announce the signing of Luc Gravel, a 2006‑born goaltender from Courtenay, British Columbia Canada.  Standing tall at 6’6”, Luc brings that commanding presence between the pipes every team wants.  

With a strong family pedigree of high‑level goalies, Luc combines size, athleticism, and technical precision with a calm, confident demeanor.  His performance earned him a call‑up to the BCHL, ranking Top‑2 in games played and proving he can be the backbone of any defense.

In the 2025‑26 season, Gravel posted an impressive .911 SV% in the VIJHL, while also earning time in the BCHL — a legit number for a goalie facing heavy volume on shots on net.  He turned aside 743 shots, showing elite workload tolerance, steady progression over three years at .889 → .906 → .911, and the poise of a seasoned competitor.
