Two Pics players playing in World Junior Championships

Team Ukraine has two current Springfield Pics players playing on the national team in the Division 1 World Junior Championships.

Andriiy Yevtukhov currently plays on the 16U team. He is playing up in years as this tournament is largely comprised of 1999 players. In his first 13 games with the Pics, he has averaged a little over a point a game. He has played the first two games for Team Ukraine.

Domytro Danyenko splits his time between the Premier and the 18U teams. He is averaging well over a point a game for each team. He notched his first assist of the tournament on December 9th against Team Hungry.

There are also Springfield Pic's alumni playing in the tournament as well. Janis Vibelis played for the Pics in 2016-17 on the 18U team. He is currently playing for Team Latvia, and the Connecticut Jr. Rangers of the NCDC.

Sasha Peresunko is also playing on Team Ukraine. He played on the Premier team last year, getting 42 points in 26 games. He currently is playing on the Boston Junior Bruins of the NCDC.

Dominik Olszewski played during 2015 and 2017 on the 16U, 18U and Premier teams. He is on Team Poland.
