The Springfield Pics win in dramatic fashion against the league leading Boston Bandits in a Friday afternoon matinee 3-2.
The scoring opened up at the 4:16 mark of the first period. Noe Turdjmann potted one from the dot. Mike Wilson and Gene Bouthiette were credited with the assist. Mike Wilson then got a goal of his own on the power play at the 13:08 mark of the first, with Turdjmann and Bouthiette with the assists.
The Bandits got one of their own on a power play of their own at the 1:46 mark of the 2nd period. James Gagan got his 8th goal of the year. Patrick Graham got credited with the assist.
The Pics answered it right on back on a 5-3 power play after the Bandits got whistled for too many men on the ice after Keagan O'Donoghue got rung up earlier for roughing. Gene Bouthiette got one of his own, which ended up being the game winning goal. Josh Bliss and Mike Wilson were credited with the assists.
Boston brought it back within one with a power play goal from Hunter Fortin. Evan Cronkhite and Clayton Dave got credited with the assists.
Blake Carlson lead the way with 48 saves.
Ralpael Provencher got 31 saves in the loss.
The Premier team plays again away from the friendly confines of the Olympia, when they visit the Islanders Hockey Club on December 6th.
