WEST SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts – The Springfield Pics 16U and 18U squads will be holding free identification skates at the Olympia Ice Center on March 14 and 21 at 8:40 p.m.

The 16U Pics gather after a goal.

Players who are interested in joining the Pics for the upcoming 2018-19 season will have an opportunity to work with the coaching staffs of the Pics 16U and 18U teams and be scouted and observed.

Both Pics 16U and 18U teams had strong seasons in 2017-18, with the 18U Pics advancing to the USPHL Quarterfinals and the 16U Pics reaching the USPHL Semifinals.

Players who previously played for the Pics 16U and 18U teams have gone on to play higher level junior hockey and ultimately collegiate and even professional hockey.

Participants should bring their equipment to the Olympia Ice Center. Check in will be done the day of each event at the 18U locker room located adjacent to Rink 2. For further information, please contact Pics General Manager/18U Head Coach Rob Bonneau.
