Due to extreme weather the past few weekends the Springfield Pics Hockey Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday, August 29th, at Chicopee Country Club has been unfortunately cancelled. The dinner after the tournament at Kennedy Post 275 located at 41 Robbins Road in Chicopee, MA has also been cancelled.
We will notify you of a special dinner we will organize in the very near future for our organization fundraiser.
You
are cordially invited to attend the Annual Springfield Pics Hockey Association golf outing. This
scramble format event will take place at the Chicopee
Country Club on the new date of Saturday, August 29th, 2009 at 12:30
PM.
All
of us at the Springfield Pics are committed to developing
Youth and Junior aged hockey players that want to continue
their hockey careers at Division I and III Colleges/Universities
throughout North America. As
a proud member of the Eastern Hockey Federation,
the International Junior Hockey League, Continental Hockey Association and the girls
New England Girls Hockey League we feel that we have positioned
our teams in the most competitive leagues in the country
that allows for maximum exposure for all of our players. Our
teams have been
successful, and we are well situated for the 2009 - 2010
season with even more competitive teams.
By
participating in the golf outing, not only are you supporting
the Pics hockey teams, but you are sure to have a fantastic
day of golf and fun while helping to defray the cost of
travel, equipment, tournaments, and tuition for all our
teams.

In order to be successful, we need:
Golfers: Please bring your friends, family and co-workers.
Hole sponsors: Hole sponsorship is the most
successful and important portion of the fund raising. Hole
sponsorships are set at the following
Bronze -
$50.00 and includes signage on a golf cart.
Silver - $100.00 and includes signage on tee box.
Gold - $250.00 and includes signage on golf cart,
tee box and a half page ad in the program book.
Raffle Prizes: We need raffle prizes of
all shapes and sizes. We will take any donations, including
merchandise and gift certificates.
The
Committee will make arrangements to pick-up raffle prizes
from you as necessary, usually at the rink during your
team’s
ice time.
Each
Pics Hockey player is requested to provide 2 hole sponsors.
Please approach any and all persons and businesses you
work for, work with or own to secure these important
sponsorships. Please include a hole sponsor information
sheet for each donor.
