Eastern Hockey Federation

Hello 2009 - 2010 Springfield Pics Tryout Candidates...

We are thrilled to announce the breaking news that the Springfield Pics have been accepted into the Eastern Hockey Federation. Per the Fed's Website, www.fedhockey.com, “The Eastern Hockey Federation is proud to announce that the Springfield Pics Hockey Organization has joined the league for the 2009-10 season. The Pics will participate in our new “AAA” level division which will be made up of current EHF AA division programs and potentially other local AAA organizations.”

The Eastern Federation Hockey league is ranked as one of the best for youth development in the country and features such powerhouse teams as the nationally ranked Minuteman Flames and South Shore Kings.

We are also extremely proud to announce that Brian Sullivan has accepted the role as the Director of Hockey Operations and Head coach of our ’99, Squirt Major team. Brian comes to us a veteran of the American Hockey League having played with the Springfield Falcons and Lowell Lock Monsters. Brian played his college career at Northeastern University of Hockey East (Div. I). Brian has served as Directors of Coaching/Player Development of the Bay State Breakers of the Eastern Hockey Federation as well as at the collegiate level with UMASS Boston and Curry College. He and his wife Lola and newborn son Liam currently reside in Longmeadow.

Our teams will be playing the best coached and most talented players in the best rinks.
